Over the last two years during Covid restrictions, when we walked into a business or public place, our tendency was to look down on the floor for directional arrows. Now that most businesses have removed the arrows, why not replace them with ads.
The natural tendency is to see advertising messages at or above eye level. However, when someone walks through a mall or a downtown sidewalk, they are constantly scanning the floor or the ground for unexpected obstacles that might cause them to trip or fall. So, it’s a great place to put an ad.
Floor graphics are popular and for good reason. They get noticed. While some eye level displays may catch the eye of customers as they stroll through trade shows or shopping malls, they may also be missed due to distractions or surrounding clutter. Floor graphics cannot be overlooked, especially when they remain constantly visible, spreading across the unobstructed view provided by a smooth, clean floor.
Another great vehicle for your advertising message are stair risers. When people are going up the stairs, they tend to look down so as not to miss a step and trip. Graphics on stair risers are very visible and effective.
Floor graphics really work well. Why? It is impossible to miss them. If they are there, you will look down every time, I guarantee it. Consider the possibilities that exist in public spaces as well as in your place of business. It’s really worth it.
