Grant Harvey Centre
Our clients rely on us to find the best marketing/advertising opportunities for their business. We look around and find opportunities of value and of course, visibility. Last summer the Fredericton Red Wings opened up shop at Grant Harvey Centre and have filled the void left by the departure of the STU men’s hockey program. That facility has lots going on now with the Red Wings, STU women’s hockey, minor hockey, ringette, and the running/walking track…hundreds and hundreds of walkers/runners per day. It is a great place to advertise and what the Red Wings have to offer is very affordable.
A What?
Lately we have seen many fast food restaurants jump on the plant-based bandwagon. Some have launched it only to discover it’s really not a great seller and have dropped it from their menus. Subway has now joined the fray with what they call a “plant-based meatball sub”. How can it be plant-based meat? I’m sure that was an interesting discussion around the marketing department boardroom.
Facebook Sponsored Posts
Of course, we now include social media in our campaigns. Sometimes Facebook can be misleading on the projected reach. We did a sponsored post for a client and Facebook stated we could reach a potential of 170,000 people with our post. When we reviewed the final results, the reach was only 2,954 people. Oops..a little less than projected. But on the other end of the spectrum, we did a $330.00 buy with a reach of 49,500 people with 1,260 clicks to the client’s website. Is spending $330.00 good value for 1,260 visits to your website. You bet it is.
