
The business world will start to come back to life for many of us in the next little while and continue on for those of you that have stayed open. If you’re thinking it will be like it was before Covid-19 it won’t.
You are required to have visible signage, implement physical distancing and hand sanitation stations among other things. The Fredericton Chamber of Commerce has put out a Covid-19 Reopening Recovery Guide which is great to use as a resource for the requirements.
Things won’t be the same. Use this as an opportunity to better serve your customers. Why don’t you ask them how they want to do business with you? Perhaps they prefer ordering from you online or you might find out that they really like the convenience of curbside pick up. If you are business to business you will most likely have more Zoom than face-to-face meetings. If that is what your customers want, then give it to them. Many are finding this to be more efficient and productive.
I ordered take out from a local restaurant this week and during the five minutes I waited for my food, six Skip the Dishes drivers came and went. This is a great example of how business is changing to meet the demands of customers.
