Your website is alive.

WWW - Under ConstructionOver the next few weeks, this space will be dedicated to one of the most powerful marketing tools you should have in your arsenal. Your website.

I will be talking about planning, design, content, photography and building it to be Google and mobile friendly.

Your website should be treated like one of your employees. It can have various functions; like being a sales person, signing up clients to your newsletter, giving out contact info, etc. It does have a job to do. Is your site doing a good job for you? So let’s start by looking at your current website situation.

You should really keep reading if…

You don’t have a website and think it’s about time you got one.

You do have a website but it’s just OK and you know your business deserves better.

You have a website but it’s not mobile friendly, looks like it might have been designed a decade ago and works only sometimes.

You have a website but you’re not generating the leads or making the sales you want.

You really, really need to keep reading if…

You’re that last holdout who just wants a website to have a website.

You have a friend/nephew/cousin who knows a guy who knows computers that can do a site for you.

You have said – or at any point while reading this find yourself saying – “Yeah but I just need something simple”.

What should you do?

You have to look at your website as a living, breathing entity that needs to be fed with new content to keep its strength up. It will work a whole lot better for your business if you keep it current and relevant.
